The invention provides an early warning method and system for thermal runaway of a power battery of an electric vehicle, which is used for the situation that a battery management system is in a dormant state under the working condition that the power battery stands, and comprises the following steps: periodically obtaining an infrared light value of aerosol in a power battery pack; when the infrared light value is greater than a preset threshold value, acquiring a blue light value of the aerosol; when the blue light value is not greater than a preset threshold value, a smoke sensor in the power battery pack is continuously in a low-power-consumption state; when the blue light value is greater than a preset threshold value, that is, when the aerosol concentration is abnormal, the smoke sensor awakens the battery management system, the smoke sensor enters a continuous working state and reports smoke concentration information to the battery management system, and the battery management system collects module temperature and voltage information in the power battery pack; and according to whether the module temperature and voltage information are abnormal, whether a power battery thermal runaway early warning is sent out is judged.

    本公开提供了一种电动汽车动力电池热失控预警方法及系统,其用于动力电池静置工况下电池管理系统处于休眠状态的情况,包括:周期性获取动力电池包内气溶胶的红外光值;当所述红外光值大于预设阈值时,获取气溶胶的蓝光值;当所述蓝光值不大于预设阈值时,动力电池包内的烟雾传感器持续处于低功耗状态;当所述蓝光值大于预设阈值时,即气溶胶浓度异常时,烟雾传感器唤醒电池管理系统,烟雾传感器进入连续工作状态并向电池管理系统上报烟雾浓度信息,电池管理系统采集动力电池包内模组温度及电压信息,根据模组温度及电压信息是否异常,判断是否发出动力电池热失控预警。
