The invention discloses an additional brake of a passenger conveying device, which is provided with a braking mechanism and an actuating mechanism, the braking force of the additional brake acts on a main shaft of the passenger conveying device, and the additional brake has a preset braking torque set value; after the additional brake brakes, the braking torque is lower than the preset braking torque set value before the driving chain completes the elastic edge conversion process, and after the driving chain completes the elastic edge conversion process, the braking force continues to be increased until the preset braking torque set value is reached; the elastic side conversion process of the driving chains refers to the process that in the on-load descending braking process of the passenger conveying device, the upper driving chain is converted from the tight side to the loose side, and the lower driving chain is converted from the loose side to the tight side. According to the invention, the peak deceleration during braking can be reduced, and the safety of the additional brake during braking is improved.

    本发明公开了一种乘客输送装置附加制动器,具有制动机构和动作机构,所述附加制动器的制动力作用在乘客输送装置的主轴上,所述附加制动器具有预设的制动力矩设定值;当附加制动器制动后,所述制动力矩在驱动链完成松紧边转换过程前低于所述预设的制动力矩设定值,在驱动链完成松紧边转换过程后所述制动力继续增大直至达到所述预设的制动力矩设定值;驱动链的松紧边转换过程是指乘客输送装置在有载下行制动中,上路驱动链由紧边转变为松边,下路驱动链由松边转变为紧边的过程。本发明可以减小制动时的峰值减速度,提升了附加制动器制动时的安全性。
