The invention discloses an additional brake control device of passenger conveying equipment. The additional brake control device comprises a relay and a control loop. The relay is provided with two normally-closed contacts, and a coil of the relay is connected in parallel to an inlet wire power supply of an additional brake control part of the passenger conveying equipment; the input end of the control loop is connected with the positive end and the negative end of the direct-current bus, the output end of the control loop is connected with the additional brake coil, and the two normally-closed contacts are connected to the two ends of the additional brake coil in series respectively. When the inlet wire power supply is powered on, the coil of the relay is powered on, and the normally closed contact is disconnected, and when the inlet wire power supply is powered off, the coil of the relay is powered off, and the normally closed contact is connected. The device is simple in structure and reliable in performance, and can work by utilizing the energy of a capacitor in a driving system of the passenger conveying equipment.
