The invention provides an unmanned aerial vehicle parachute opening protection method and electronic equipment, and relates to the technical field of unmanned aerial vehicles. The unmanned aerial vehicle parachute opening protection method comprises the steps that after it is detected that the unmanned aerial vehicle meets a first condition, flight state parameters of the unmanned aerial vehicle are obtained, and the flight state parameters are judged; and after determining that the flight state parameter satisfies a second condition, controlling the unmanned aerial vehicle to execute parachute opening. Wherein the flight state parameter comprises an attitude parameter and a vertical speed parameter, and the first condition comprises that the unmanned aerial vehicle is in an unlocked state and/or the continuous flight duration of the unmanned aerial vehicle at the first height is greater than a first duration threshold. By means of the scheme, parachute opening protection can be achieved in a wider unmanned aerial vehicle air crash scene, and the reliability of parachute opening protection of the unmanned aerial vehicle is improved.
