The invention belongs to the technical field of automobile seats, and particularly relates to a temperature and humidity control system for an automobile seat cushion and a control method thereof.The control system comprises a seat cushion AI controller, a temperature and humidity sensor and a breathing fan, and the seat cushion AI controller comprises an MCU processing module, a power source processing module, a system setting module, a temperature control driving module and a breathing driving module; during use, seasons are selected through the system setting module, the standard temperature and the standard humidity of the seat cushion are set, and data are transmitted to the MCU processing module to be stored; the temperature and humidity sensor senses the temperature and humidity on the seat cushion foam and transmits data to the MCU processing module; the MCU processing module compares the transmitted data with standard data to judge whether heating or refrigeration is needed or not and whether air blowing or air suction is needed or not; and the MCU processing module sends a signal to the temperature control driving module and the breathing driving module according to a judgment result to control the breathing fan to carry out corresponding operation.
