The invention relates to the technical field, and discloses an underwater robot buoyancy control mechanism which comprises a robot body, a supporting plate and a supporting seat, two sets of connecting frames are installed on the side face of the robot body and the side face of a power supply seat, and a buffering assembly for damping when the robot body descends is arranged on the upper surface of the supporting seat. The lower surface of the supporting plate is provided with a conduction module for conducting the acting force of descending of the robot body, and the buffering assembly comprises two sets of shock absorbers connected to the inner side wall of the supporting seat, a shock absorption damper and a third hinge seat. And the stability and the safety of the robot are improved. Besides, a power supply base and a first propeller are connected to the lower surface of the robot body, power supply and propelling of the robot are facilitated, an additional base and a second propeller are mounted on the side face of the supporting plate, and the movement capacity and operation flexibility of the robot are further improved.
