The invention discloses a ship scheduling method under limited approach channel water depth. The method comprises the steps that based on operation data of an approach channel navigation scale approach channel in different time periods of a dry period and in combination with a navigation building operation rule, constraint conditions for different types of ships with different drains to pass through a navigation building in a preset water area are determined; constructing a ship navigation scheduling model with the shortest average gate waiting time of different types of ships under the constraint condition that the different types of ships pass through the navigation building in a preset water area; based on the ship navigation scheduling model and preset model parameters, obtaining a ship navigation scheduling control scheme of a plurality of ships to be navigated in the preset water area; and based on the ship navigation scheduling control scheme, controlling the operation parameters of the navigation building and the orderly passing of the plurality of ships to be navigated. According to the invention, the operation parameters of the navigation building and the navigation sequence of the to-be-navigated ship can be controlled, the navigation pressure of the approach channel is relieved, the navigation sequence of the to-be-navigated ship is optimized, the navigation efficiency is improved, and the operation of the navigation building is balanced.
