The invention discloses a method for controlling regenerative braking of a vehicle. The method comprises the steps that the natural frequency of pitching motion of a vehicle suspension is determined according to characteristics of suspension equipment of the vehicle; a filter that provides a control unit with a natural frequency component of a pitching motion of the vehicle suspension that removes or passes through the filter; determining, by the control unit, a required regenerative braking force command based on vehicle travel information collected during travel; determining, by the control unit, a final front wheel regenerative braking force command and a final rear wheel regenerative braking force command by a filtering process using the filter according to the determined required regenerative braking force command; and controlling, by the control unit, a regenerative braking force applied to front wheels and rear wheels by a driving device for driving the vehicle in accordance with the determined final front wheel regenerative braking force command and final rear wheel regenerative braking force command.
