The invention relates to the field of engineering machinery, in particular to a control method for a crane, a controller, the crane and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a rotation angle of the crane under the condition of determining that the crane is in a tire operation working condition; under the condition that the rotation angle is within a first preset angle range, a first electromagnetic valve is controlled to be communicated so as to control oil liquid to be guided into a first rod cavity and a second rodless cavity from a pressure oil source; under the condition that the rotation angle is within a second preset angle range, a first electromagnetic valve and a second electromagnetic valve are controlled to be communicated so as to control oil liquid to be guided into a first rod cavity and a second rodless cavity from a pressure oil source through the first electromagnetic valve and guided into the second rod cavity and the first rodless cavity through the second electromagnetic valve; and under the condition that the rotation angle is within a third preset angle range, the second electromagnetic valve is controlled to be communicated so as to control oil liquid to be guided into the first rodless cavity and the second rod cavity from the pressure oil source, and the vehicle body inclination angle of the crane is within a safe inclination angle range.
