The invention discloses a water supply system for a passenger train, which comprises a plurality of water supply branches, a return water collecting tank, a water supply control device and a stop valve, each water supply branch comprises a water supply joint, a water supply hose, a ground water supply pipe, a three-way valve and a ground return water pipe, and the water inlet end of the three-way valve is connected with a main water supply pipe through the ground water supply pipe; the water outlet end of the three-way valve is connected with the water supply connector through a water supply hose, the water return end of the three-way valve is connected with the return water collecting box through a ground return water pipe, a discharge port of the return water collecting box is connected with a return water discharge pipe, the stop valve is installed on the return water discharge pipe, and the water supply control device is electrically connected with a valve element rotation driving device of the three-way valve. According to the water feeding system, synchronous opening and closing switching of the ground water supply pipe and the ground water return pipe can be achieved, it is guaranteed that accumulated water remaining in the pipeline after water feeding of the passenger car is completed can be rapidly drained in a short time, and conditions are provided for improving the water feeding operation working condition in winter and saving water.
