The invention relates to dynamic adjustment of event segment length for a vehicle event recording buffer. A method performed by a buffer segment length adjustment system (1) may be used to dynamically adjust an event segment length of data stored in an event recording buffer (3) of an automatic driving system ADS (21) of a vehicle (2). The buffer segment length adjustment system obtains (1001) sensor data for one or more sensors (22) on the vehicle. When a status presentation of the sensor data and/or software of the ADS satisfies an event record trigger criterion, the buffer segment length adjustment system also identifies (1002) a trigger event condition that supports the satisfaction. The present disclosure also relates to a buffer segment length adjustment system according to the foregoing, a vehicle comprising such a buffer segment length adjustment system, as well as a corresponding computer program product and a non-volatile computer readable storage medium.
