An integrated robotic service system for service a surface is described. The system comprises: a base translation system (110), the system comprising a multi-stage platform; a service module (150) coupled to the translation system (110) to move the module (150) relative to the base translation system (110); an end effector selector system coupled to the service module, the selector system including end effector service tools (360, 362, 366), each tool (360, 362, 366) configured to perform a service task on the surface; and a deployable leg (120) coupled to the base translation system (110) and configured to engage and disengage with the surface to allow the system to walk along the surface.
