The invention relates to a VR-based intelligent inspection device for a construction site, which comprises a vehicle body, a VR camera mounted on the vehicle body, a control mainboard and an antenna for transmitting signals, the vehicle body comprises a base and an upper cover, a counterweight seat is hung on the upper cover, a counterweight is mounted on the counterweight seat, a support leg is arranged at one end opposite to the counterweight, the counterweight is connected with the support leg through a connecting arm, and the connecting arm is connected with the VR camera. The counterweight and the supporting leg are positioned at two ends of the connecting arm; the connecting arm drives the ring to rotate through the counterweight motor so as to adjust the gravity center of the vehicle body; a pointer and a pointer angle detector which are used for measuring the downward inclination direction of the vehicle body are installed on the vehicle body, and the rotating angle of the supporting foot is kept consistent with the rotating angle of the pointer. The counterweight seat is disc-shaped, a through hole matched with the counterweight seat is formed in the base, and an annular through groove is formed between the counterweight seat and the base; the VR camera, the antenna, the counterweight motor and the pointer angle detector are connected with the control mainboard. The condition of the construction site can be remotely checked, and the vehicle body runs stably.
