The invention relates to the field of tree disease and pest control, in particular to a direct-acting cable type forest disease and pest control robot. Comprising a motion module; a needle insertion module; the butt-joint module comprises a clamping jaw, a butt-joint buckle and a direct-acting base, the direct-acting base is located below the clamping jaw, the butt-joint buckle is fixed to the outer side of the climbing module, the butt-joint buckle is clamped and fixed in the clamping jaw, and the clamping jaw is connected with the swing mechanism; the climbing module is located on the inner side of the butt joint module and comprises two symmetrically-arranged vertical supporting frames, an upper holding device and a lower holding device, the upper holding device and the lower holding device are slidably connected with the vertical supporting frames, a pesticide spraying mechanism is arranged on the upper holding device, and the upper holding device and the lower holding device are connected through a second lead screw mechanism; each of the upper holding device and the lower holding device comprises two V-shaped holding pieces which are symmetrically arranged, and the corresponding free ends of the V-shaped holding pieces are connected through a clamping mechanism. The system realizes automatic detection and treatment of tree diseases and insect pests, is small in size and low in working cost, and can be widely applied to treatment of forest diseases and insect pests.
