The method comprises the steps that vehicle accelerator pedal treading information is obtained; according to the current treaded state of the accelerator pedal, information of the vehicle accelerator state is generated; acquiring vehicle driving scene information; according to the current driving scene of the vehicle, information of the safe accelerator state of the vehicle is generated; according to the current driving scene and the current accelerator state of the vehicle, information controlled by the damping motor is generated; controlling the treaded state of the accelerator pedal according to the damping motor control information; and warning information is generated according to the information that the current accelerator state exceeds the vehicle safety accelerator state. According to the scheme, the current safe accelerator treading opening degree is generated according to the road condition information and the vehicle condition information, when an accelerator is excessively treaded, warning information is sent out, and the damping motor is used for outputting resistance to form treading limiting.
