The invention relates to the technical field of aircraft design, and provides a flap control system and method.The system comprises a transmission unit, a movement unit and a synchronization unit; the transmission unit is used for converting rotating motion of the worm into linear motion of the sliding block, and the sliding block drives the motion unit to move along a set track; the motion unit is used for driving the flap control surface to move according to a set track; the synchronizing unit is used for achieving synchronous movement of the inner flap control surface and the outer flap control surface of the flap. According to the transmission unit, the worm is used for replacing a torque tube, high rotating speed and low torque can be transmitted in a small space, and a large motion space is not needed. The moving unit adopts the bent sliding rail to replace a linear sliding rail, the flap can automatically move according to the curve of the sliding rail when retreating, assembly is easy, and disassembly is convenient. According to the synchronization unit, the machining difficulty can be reduced, and the cost is reduced.
