The driving device is connected with a controller, the controller is arranged on the mounting platform, the plant area control system is connected with the controller, and the plant area control system is provided with a historical data control module; the invention also discloses an operation method of the floating photovoltaic system based on historical data control. The system is simple in structure, automatic illumination tracking is achieved through historical data control, the automation degree of the floating type photovoltaic system is improved, the floating type photovoltaic system is made to keep high power generation efficiency all the time, and meanwhile the safety and stability of the system are improved.
