The invention discloses a traffic state estimation method and system for an urban expressway entrance ramp interleaving area. On one hand, the number of vehicles in the interleaving area is calculated based on information transmitted by vehicles and an edge control center; on the other hand, the number of vehicles in the interleaving area is calculated based on the vehicle information collected by the video device in the interleaving area; and fusing the two vehicle numbers calculated in the same time period by using a fusion algorithm to obtain a final vehicle number as a traffic state estimation result. According to 5G, edge calculation, a vehicle-road cooperation technology, Beidou high-precision positioning and high-definition video processing technologies and the like, traffic state estimation of the urban expressway entrance ramp interleaving area in a vehicle-road cooperation environment is realized, and a more accurate basis is provided for vehicle passing optimization control of the entrance ramp interleaving area.

    本发明公开了一种城市快速路入口匝道交织区的交通状态估计方法及系统,一方面基于车辆与边缘控制中心传输的信息计算出交织区内的车辆数;另一方面基于交织区的视频装置采集的车辆信息计算出交织区内的车辆数;采用融合算法对同一时间段计算得到的两个车辆数进行融合,得到最终车辆数作为交通状态估计结果。本发明依据5G、边缘计算、车路协同技术、北斗高精度定位和高清视频处理技术等,实现车路协同环境下的城市快速路入口匝道交织区的交通状态估计,为入口匝道交织区车辆通行优化控制提供更为精确的依据。
