The invention relates to a pantograph of a rail transit vehicle, in particular to a pantograph head structure and a spring box. The spring box comprises an outer barrel (17) and a spring shaft (12), the two ends of the spring shaft are radially positioned and fixed in the outer barrel through bearing seat assemblies (19), a connecting seat (24) used for being connected with the sliding plate assembly is arranged outside the outer barrel, and the connecting seat comprises two connecting parts (25) which are spaced by a certain distance; the spring shaft is at least sequentially provided with a first torsion spring (21) and a second torsion spring (22), the first end of the first torsion spring (21) and the first end of the second torsion spring (22) are connected with the spring shaft, the second end of the first torsion spring (21) and the second end of the second torsion spring (22) are connected with the outer cylinder, and the spiral direction of the first torsion spring (21) is opposite to the spiral direction of the second torsion spring (22). The follow-up mechanism is compact and simple in structure and excellent in follow-up performance.
