The invention provides a radar which is applied to the technical field of unmanned equipment. The radar comprises a radar housing, a radar plate rotating in the radar housing, and a driving assembly driving the radar plate to rotate. Wherein the two ends of the radar shell are connected with a shell of a supporting arm of the unmanned vehicle, so that the radar is arranged in the part, parallel to a base of the unmanned vehicle and higher than the base, of the supporting arm; a visual obstacle avoidance assembly is arranged on the outer side of the radar shell. According to the embodiment of the invention, the radar is arranged in the part, parallel to the base and higher than the base, of the supporting arm, and compared with the prior art, the radar setting height is increased, so that the radar detection range is widened. In addition, a visual obstacle avoidance assembly is arranged on the radar shell, and obstacles are timely and accurately detected through cooperation of radio signal detection and video detection, so that rapid and effective obstacle avoidance is realized.
