The invention provides a predictive control method based on an automobile, a whole automobile control unit and the automobile, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the temperature of a passenger compartment, environment information and automobile information, and obtaining a predicted travel according to the automobile information; the current working condition of the passenger compartment is determined, and a prediction mode currently matched with the passenger compartment is determined according to the predicted travel, the temperature of the passenger compartment and the environment information; and according to the current working condition of the passenger compartment and a mode strategy matched with the prediction mode, performing corresponding control by adopting the mode strategy. The problem that in the prior art, when a new energy automobile is under the working condition of low temperature in winter or high temperature in summer, the comfort experience of drivers and passengers in the automobile is poor is solved.
