The invention relates to an annular electric propeller control system and method, a ship and a ship control method, belongs to the technical field of ships, and solves the problem that in the prior art, an existing ship cannot rapidly move and/or is small in steering angle. The annular electric thruster control system comprises a screw air compressor and an annular thruster channel extending from top to bottom, the annular thruster channel comprises a maintenance section and a pressurization section which are arranged from top to bottom, and a first electric airtight cabin door is arranged at the joint of the maintenance section and the pressurization section. A second electric airtight cabin door is arranged at the tail end of the pressurizing section, the annular electric propeller is arranged in the pressurizing section and can move in the annular propeller channel, and the pressurizing section is communicated with a screw type air compressor. The ship can achieve rapid displacement and/or large-angle steering.
