The invention relates to the technical field of electric driving systems of electric automobiles, in particular to a motor torque control method and device for an electric four-wheel-drive automobile, and the method comprises the steps that when an electric driving differential mechanism of any shaft enters an active protection mode, the difference value between the actual torque of any shaft and the current required torque is obtained; according to superposition of the difference value and the initial torque demand value, final demand torques of other shafts except any shaft are obtained; and when the motor differential mechanisms of the other shafts do not enter the active protection mode, the motors of the other shafts are controlled to output torque according to the final required torque. According to the embodiment of the invention, when the electric drive differential mechanism of any shaft enters the active protection mode, the final demand torque of the other shafts can be obtained, and when the motor differential mechanisms of the other shafts do not enter the active protection mode, the motors of the other shafts are controlled to output the torque according to the final demand torque, so that the electric drive output torque meets the driver demand torque; therefore, the driving experience of the user is improved, and the safety of the vehicle is improved.
