The invention discloses a robot elevator taking detection method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The robot elevator taking detection method comprises the steps that when an elevator door of an elevator is opened, an image of a detection area is collected through a sensor; performing target detection tracking on the image to obtain motion data and a behavior detection result of an object in the detection area; according to the motion data and the behavior detection result, calculating the score of the robot as the object; when the score is larger than the score threshold value, the object is determined to be the robot, elevator taking of the robot is recognized through the elevator taking motion data and behaviors of the robot, the robot recognition accuracy is improved, and the problem that the robot is misjudged to be a child with the weak behavior ability, and consequently the elevator stops running is solved; the normal operation of the elevator is ensured when the robot takes the elevator, and the consistency of robot elevator control and detection system elevator control is ensured.
