There is provided a device (1) for attaching a strut (10) to a hull (100) of a ship, the device comprising a first arm (2) defining a first extension direction (2a); a first constraining means (3) connected to the first arm (2) and defining at least a first constraining surface (30) configured to be arranged in contact with a portion of the hull (100), a second arm (4) connected to the first arm (2) and defining a second extension direction (4a) transverse to the first extension direction (2a), and a second restraining means (5) connected to the second arm (4) and defining at least a second restraining surface (50) configured to be disposed in contact with a portion of the hull (100), where the restraining means (3, 5) are configured to integrally restrain the device (1) to the hull (100), when the strut (10) is restrained to one or more of the arms (2, 4) or a portion thereof, the restraining means (3, 5) restrain the device (1) to the hull (100). The strut (10) is constrained to the hull (100).
