The spider robot capable of walking on the complex road surface comprises a storage bin serving as a body, a center trunk is connected to the bottom of the storage bin, two pairs of symmetrically-arranged mechanical legs are arranged on the side portion of the center trunk, flippers are arranged at the ends of the mechanical legs, and spine structures and dry wetland detection circuits are arranged at the bottoms of the flippers. The mechanical shank of the spider robot is provided with a flipper type structure, and the road holding force on the complex ground which is soft, insufficient in friction force and prone to sinking is optimized. According to the spider robot, the single mechanical leg has three degrees of freedom, the walking posture can be adjusted to be tiptoe landing walking or flipper landing through mutual cooperation so as to adapt to different terrains, and operation is easy and efficient. According to the spider robot, the flipper and the tiptoe are provided with the electrodes, whether the current terrain is a wet muddy ground or not can be detected in cooperation with a control system, and therefore walking postures can be switched autonomously and intelligently to adapt to different road surfaces.
