An electric vehicle battery pack heating system control method comprises the steps that a battery pack heating system model is established, a vehicle speed prediction model is established through an RBF radial basis function neural network, the predicted vehicle speed of an electric vehicle is obtained, and internal factors influencing the temperature of a battery pack serve as state input quantities; taking external factors including the obtained predicted vehicle speed and influencing the temperature of the battery pack as disturbance input quantities, taking the temperature of the battery pack as a control target, constructing a state-space equation and a cost function of the battery pack heating system, establishing a nonlinear model prediction controller, obtaining the PTC power of the battery pack heating system, and calculating the temperature of the battery pack heating system. And enabling the battery pack heating system to operate at the obtained PTC power, and controlling the battery pack heating system by taking parameters obtained by operation as new state input quantity and disturbance input quantity. According to the control method, the power of the PTC heater can be minimum while the battery temperature is controlled to be close to the set value, and the response speed is high.
