This document describes techniques for parsing tracking from multiple types of sensors using occlusion constraints. In aspects, an occlusion constraint is applied to an association between radar tracking and visual tracking to indicate an occlusion probability. In other aspects, techniques are described for a vehicle to avoid evaluating occluded radar tracking and visual tracking collected by a perceptual system. The occlusion probability is used to fade radar and visual tracking pairs that have a high occlusion likelihood and thus are useless for tracking. The disclosed techniques may provide improved perceptual data that more closely represents a plurality of complex data sets of a vehicle that are used to prevent collisions with occluded objects when the vehicle is operating in an environment.
