The invention discloses a lifting mechanism for a ship, which is mainly used for passenger and cargo lifting of a large ship, comprises ship decks (1) connected to the top end of a bracket (101) and a base (102) connected to the lower part of the bracket (101), and is characterized in that the outer side of a mounting plate (404) of a spiral elevator (4) is vertically connected with a lifting platform (3), and a spiral channel (401) and a limiting guide rail (403) of the spiral elevator (4) are mounted between two layers of ship decks (1); buffering wheel assemblies (2) are installed at the two ends of the lower plane of the lifting table (3) respectively, and the wheel ends of buffering wheels (206) of the buffering wheel assemblies (2) face outwards and make rolling contact with the inner sides of the supports (101). The invention has the advantages of stable operation, small swing, low noise and low maintenance cost.
