The invention provides a bow structure of a container ship, a container ship and a design method of the bow structure of the container ship, which can reduce wind resistance and realize miniaturization and light weight of a windproof structure. A container ship (1) is provided with: a bow section (2) which is the front end part of a ship body; a cargo area (3) on which a plurality of containers (31) can be loaded; and a windproof body (5) which is disposed substantially vertically on the edge of an upper deck (4). Further, the container ship (1) is set so that the wind direction is within the range of +/-10 to +/-60 degrees with respect to the direction of travel, the wind resistance decrease rate of the container ship (1) in the full load state and the half load state is calculated, and the height of the wind shield (5) is set with reference to the calculated decrease rate. The height (Hw) of the windproof body (5) is, for example, in the range of 5-18 m or in the range of 0.18-0.65 times the average container loading height (Hc).
