The present invention relates to an occupant leaving determination device for a vehicle, and aims to improve the vehicle. An occupant remaining determination device (21) is provided with: sensors (31-39) that output radio waves to a vehicle compartment (2) of a vehicle (1) and detect reflected waves generated by an occupant remaining in the vehicle compartment (2); and a control unit (41) that determines, on the basis of at least the detection of the reflected waves by the sensors (31-39), whether or not a passenger is left in the cabin (2), and that is capable of switching the radio waves output from the sensors (31-39) between radio waves of a plurality of frequencies including a first radio wave and a second radio wave having a lower frequency than the first radio wave. When an occupant gets off the vehicle (1), the control unit (41) switches the radio waves output by the sensors (31-39) from the first radio waves to the second radio waves, and determines whether or not the occupant is left in the vehicle compartment (2) on the basis of the detection of the reflected waves by the sensors (31-39) that output the second radio waves.
