The invention discloses an elevator counterweight device which comprises a counterweight block and a frame body containing the counterweight block, the frame body is composed of a counterweight left frame, a counterweight right frame, a counterweight upper frame and a counterweight lower frame, the elevator counterweight device further comprises a jacking device, a supporting device and a counterweight block replacement part, and the jacking device is arranged on the counterweight lower frame; the supporting device is arranged on the counterweight left frame and the counterweight right frame; and the counterweight block replacement part is arranged on the counterweight left frame and the counterweight right frame. According to the counterweight device, a special structure is adopted, and the problem that the counterweight weight is increased under the condition that an elevator suspension system is not disassembled is solved quickly and efficiently at low cost through a specific installation mode.
