The invention discloses an elevator counterweight device, and relates to the technical field of elevators. The elevator counterweight device aims at solving the problems that an existing elevator counterweight device is not stable enough in installation performance of a counterweight block, the rotating performance of a traction sheave is inflexible along with the increase of service time, the moving flexibility of a counterweight frame is not perfect enough, and static electricity is easily generated due to long-time friction of a steel cable. A bottom supporting rod is installed at the lowerend of a sliding installation main frame, front stable supporting blocks are installed on the two sides of the front end of the bottom supporting rod, an upper installation fixing cover plate is installed at the upper end of the sliding installation main frame, a counterweight installation frame is installed on the inner side of the sliding installation main frame, steel cable guiding mechanismsare installed on the two sides of the upper end of the upper installation fixing cover plate correspondingly, the counterweight block is installed in the counterweight installation frame, and a traction wheel mechanism is installed in the middle of the interior of the upper end of the counterweight installation frame.
