The invention belongs to the technical field of artificial intelligence, and discloses an intelligent parking system and method based on machine learning, and the method comprises the following steps: connecting the intelligent parking system, and obtaining the vehicle position of a user needing parking; using a parking space detection model to obtain the parking space position of the free parking space; task scheduling is carried out by using the task scheduling model, and the corresponding unmanned automatic guide transport vehicle and the target parking space position are matched; performing global path planning by using a path planning model according to the parking space position of the target, the vehicle position of the matched unmanned automated guided vehicle and the vehicle position of the user; and according to the global optimal path, controlling the unmanned automatic guidance transport vehicle to arrive at the vehicle position of the user and transporting the vehicle of the user to the target parking space position for automatic parking. The problems that in the prior art, the intelligent degree is low, the user experience effect is poor, safety is low, and the cost input cannot meet the requirement are solved.
