The invention relates to driver force enhancement indicating trajectory planner feedback. In a number of illustrative variations, a method may include providing an autonomous steering system, which may include a steering interface. The method may include: determining at least one trajectory; providing a driving steering input on the steering interface; providing haptic feedback in the steering interface in the form of force enhancement, the haptic feedback indicating an intention of the autonomous steering system to remain on at least one trajectory; and increasing or decreasing the haptic feedback in intensity according to the magnitude of the transition from the at least one trajectory.
