The method comprises the following steps: determining a planned path of a slave vehicle and a planned driving speed of the slave vehicle; and when the current position information of the master vehicle sent by the master vehicle is obtained, the current driving speed of the slave vehicle is adjusted based on the planned driving speed of the slave vehicle by combining the current position information of the master vehicle according to the comparison result of the current position information of the slave vehicle and the planned path of the slave vehicle. According to the unmanned vehicle formation driving control method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the mutual influence between the slave vehicles and the influence of the slave vehicles on the master vehicle can be avoided, the formation stability of the unmanned vehicle formation can be maintained, and the longitudinal control of the stable unmanned vehicle formation driving is realized.
