A division line recognition device is provided with: a detection unit (1a) that detects the external condition around a host vehicle; a pattern recognition unit (141) that recognizes a linear pattern on the road surface on the basis of the external condition detected by the detection unit (1a); and a division line determination unit (142) that determines whether or not the linear pattern is a division line of a prescribed lane on the basis of the continuity of the linear pattern recognized by the pattern recognition unit (141).

    本发明提供一种划分线识别装置,具备:检测部(1a),其检测本车辆的周围的外部状况;图形识别部(141),其基于由检测部(1a)检测出的外部状况,识别路面上的线状图形;划分线判定部(142),其基于由图形识别部(141)识别出的线状图形的连续性,判定线状图形是否为规定车道的划分线。
