A wading exhaust device for a drive axle comprises a pipe body and a respirator. The lower end of the pipe body is connected with an exhaust hole of the axle housing; the respirator is arranged at the upper end of the pipe body; the upper end of the pipe body extends upwards, and the height of the upper end is larger than that of an exhaust hole of the axle housing. The backhoe loader comprises the drive axle wading exhaust device. After the wading exhaust device provided by the invention is mounted on the axle housing of the drive axle, communication from the interior of the axle housing of the drive axle to the respirator is realized, and a communicating vessel structure is formed. The upper end of the pipe body is higher than the exhaust hole of the axle housing. The fording depth is increased, and the situation that water enters the axle housing of the drive axle to damage parts and deteriorate lubricating oil during fording is avoided. During daily operation, when the air pressure in the drive axle is inconsistent with the outside due to temperature change, the air pressure is exhausted or sucked from the respirator opening through the wading exhaust device to ensure normal operation of the drive axle.
