Provided is an elevator control cable position adjustment device capable of stabilizing the state of a control cable without making the control cable have a special structure. The control cable position adjusting device of the elevator is provided with a control cable position adjusting body, and the control cable position adjusting body is arranged on the periphery, close to a hoistway, of the control cable relative to the elevator provided with the control cable arranged between the wall side of the hoistway and the lift car side. The position of the control cable in a direction proximate to and away from the wall of the hoistway is adjusted.
