The invention relates to an aluminum alloy and a part prepared from the aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy comprises, by weight, 7%-9% of silicon (Si), 0.2%-0.7% of manganese (Mn), 0.09%-0.4% of iron (Fe), 0.1%-0.3% of vanadium (V), 0.1%-0.2% of titanium (Ti), 0.01%-0.03% of strontium (Sr) and the balance aluminum and inevitable impurities, and the weight ratio of the manganese (Mn) to the iron (Fe) is not lower than 1. According to the aluminum alloy, the heat treatment process after casting can be omitted in the machining process, energy conservation and emission reduction are facilitated, and parts prepared from the aluminum alloy can achieve the expected mechanical property.
