The invention relates to a control device for a hybrid vehicle and a control method for a hybrid vehicle. The present invention manages the battery charge amount of a hybrid vehicle to an appropriate battery charge amount. A control device (20) for a hybrid vehicle (2) is provided with: a target charge amount setting unit that sets a target charge amount of a battery (215); and a travel control unit that causes the hybrid vehicle to travel by controlling the charging and discharging of the internal combustion engine (211), the rotating electric machine (214), and the battery (215) so that the amount of charge of the battery (215) becomes the target amount of charge. The target charge amount setting unit is configured to set the target charge amount on the basis of a remaining distance or a required time from a current position to a restricted region in which the driving of the internal combustion engine is restricted, and a width time from a current time to a time at which the driving restriction of the internal combustion engine is started in the restricted region.

    本发明涉及一种混合动力车辆的控制装置及混合动力车辆的控制方法。将混合动力车辆的蓄电池充电量管理成合适的蓄电池充电量。混合动力车辆(2)的控制装置(20)具备:目标充电量设定部,设定蓄电池(215)的目标充电量;及行驶控制部,以使蓄电池(215)的充电量成为目标充电量的方式,控制内燃机(211)及旋转电机(214)和蓄电池(215)的充放电而使混合动力车辆行驶。目标充电量设定部构成为,基于从当前位置到内燃机的驱动被限制的限制区域为止的剩余距离或需要时间和从当前时刻到在限制区域中开始内燃机的驱动限制的时刻为止的宽限时间来设定目标充电量。
