Embodiments of the present specification provide a method and system for jointly predicting motion trajectories of at least two moving objects, the system comprising a communication interface configured to receive a map of motion areas of the at least two moving objects and sensor data associated with the at least two moving objects; and at least one processor configured to: locate the at least two moving objects in a map; determining object features of each moving object based on the sensor data, wherein the object features represent the movement of each moving object; determining rule features of the moving object, wherein the rule features represent traffic rules which the moving object needs to obey; and based on the object features and the rule features, using a machine learning model to jointly predict the motion trails of the at least two motion objects.
