The invention relates to the technical field of fixed-point ocean observation, in particular to a self-adaptive seabed base which comprises a seabed base box body, a gravity anchor and a release cable, the seabed base box body is connected with the gravity anchor through the release cable, and a controller, a tension sensor, a controlled winch, an acoustic communication machine and a release device are arranged in the seabed base box body; the controller is connected with the tension sensor, the controlled winch, the acoustic communication machine and the releasing device through signal cables. The controller reads data of the tension sensor and controls the controlled winch to adjust the length of the release cable to adapt to the thickness and change of sediment, so that the upper portion of the seabed base box body is suspended in seawater and can receive underwater acoustic signals, the lower portion of the seabed base box body is located in a soft sediment layer, and the seabed base box body cannot be dragged away by the trawl net. The seabed base can be normally recycled, the problem that the length of an existing seabed base release cable cannot adapt to the thickness of sediments at a deployment point, and consequently the seabed base can be lost is solved, and the deployment time and the deployment expenditure are saved.
