The invention relates to the technical field of wall-climbing robots and automation, and discloses a suction cup capable of electrically generating negative pressure, which comprises a suction cup body, the bottom of the suction cup body is coated with a flexible diaphragm, the inner side of the diaphragm is connected with a pull rod, the pull rod penetrates to the upper part of the suction cup body through an inner cavity of the suction cup body, and the upper end of the pull rod is connected to a lifting mechanism. When the suction cup tightly presses the diaphragm to be tightly attached to the plane object, the pull rod is pulled by the pull-up mechanism to move upwards so that the diaphragm can extend towards the inner cavity, and therefore negative pressure can be formed between the diaphragm and the plane object. According to the suction cup capable of electrically generating the negative pressure, in the using process, a vacuum pump or a draught fan does not need to be matched to serve as a vacuum and negative pressure source, the suction cup is controlled to suck and put down materials without a pipeline or an electronic valve, the vacuum degree and adsorption force of the suction cup are improved, and the service life of the suction cup is prolonged. Adsorption requirements of walls, glass curtain walls and the like with good surface smoothness can be met, and wall climbing design of the robot is facilitated.
