Provided is a polymer composition which is suitable for producing a tire having excellent low-loss properties and abrasion resistance, and also having a highly balanced wet grip performance and mechanical characteristics. A polymer composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing a diene polymer (A) and a filler (B), the diene polymer (A) containing a polymer (A1) and a polymer (A2). The polymer (A1) is a polymer of a conjugated diene compound or a diene polymer of a copolymer of a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound, which is modified with a polar group having an affinity for the filler (B), and which has an aromatic vinyl content of 25 mass% or less and a modification rate of 30-100%. The polymer (A2) is a diene polymer that is a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diene compound containing 1, 3-butadiene, the aromatic vinyl content being 30-50 mass%, the vinyl content being 5-30 mass%, and the peak molecular weight in terms of polystyrene as measured by gel permeation chromatography being 400,000-2,000,000.

    本发明提供一种聚合物组合物,其适于制造不仅低损耗性及耐磨耗性优异,而且湿式抓着性能及机械特性也高度平衡的轮胎。本发明的聚合物组合物的特征在于,含有二烯系聚合物(A)及填料(B),所述二烯系聚合物(A)含有下述聚合物(A1)及下述聚合物(A2)。聚合物(A1)是经对所述填料(B)具有亲和性的极性基改性且为共轭二烯化合物的聚合物或共轭二烯化合物与芳香族乙烯基化合物的共聚物的二烯系聚合物,其中芳香族乙烯基含量为25质量%以下,且改性率为30%~100%。聚合物(A2)是作为芳香族乙烯基化合物与含有1,3‑丁二烯的共轭二烯化合物的共聚物的二烯系聚合物,其中芳香族乙烯基含量为30质量%~50质量%,乙烯基含量为5质量%~30质量%,且通过凝胶渗透色谱法而测定的聚苯乙烯换算的峰值分子量为400,000~2,000,000。
