The invention provides a steering mechanism capable of being manually and automatically switched. The steering mechanism comprises a directional wheel assembly; a motor; the input end of the synchronous belt wheel set is in driving connection with the output end of the motor; a bevel gear set; the electromagnetic clutch comprises a rotor in transmission connection with the output end of the synchronous pulley set and a stator in transmission connection with the input end of the bevel gear set, and the rotor and the stator are connected through electromagnetic attraction; the steering shaft is vertically arranged above the directional wheel assembly; one axial end of the steering shaft is arranged on a gear corresponding to the output end of the bevel gear set in a penetrating mode, and the other axial end of the steering shaft is used for being in driving connection with the directional wheel assembly. And the steering wheel is located above the steering shaft and is in driving connection with the steering shaft. Through separation and connection of the electromagnetic clutch, the steering mechanism capable of being switched manually and automatically can be switched between an electric driving working mode and a manual driving working mode.
