A rubber composition for a sealing material, which contains 0.5-3 parts by mass of a thiourea crosslinking agent, 1-10 parts by mass of a thiazole-based vulcanization accelerator and/or thiuram-based vulcanization accelerator, and 100-300 parts by mass of a liquid polymer per 100 parts by mass of a butyl rubber.
