The invention provides a self-sealing rubber composition. The self-sealing rubber composition comprises 10-50 wt% of butyl rubber, 20-80 wt% of low-molecular-weight polyisobutene, 0.5-5 wt% of zinc oxide, 0-15 wt% of a filler, 0-6 wt% of processing oil, 0-5 wt% of stearic acid and 0-80 wt% of medium-molecular-weight polyisobutene. The self-sealing rubber composition provided by the invention can keep enough viscosity, elasticity and strength within the temperature range of -40 DEG C to -120 DEG C, and has the advantages of safety and puncture resistance at extreme temperature.
