The invention is applicable to the technical field of constructional engineering, and provides a novel variable cross-section structural node of a steel crane beam, which comprises a flange, a web plate and a force transmission part, and the force transmission part is used for assisting the web plate in force transmission. The straight sealing plate is arranged to be the 50-degree inclined sealing plate, so that the stress of the lower flange and the web at the high section is transmitted to the lower flange and the web at the end section through the inclined sealing plate and the web in the area, compared with the straight sealing plate and the inclined sealing plate, the force transmission is more direct and efficient, the force transmission burden of the web at the variable section is reduced, and the service life of the web is prolonged. The problem of stress concentration at the variable cross section is effectively reduced, and the fatigue performance of the end part of the crane beam is improved; compared with a right-angle structure, the maximum stress of the lower flange and the web at the variable cross section of the node is reduced by about 15% and 10% respectively, and the stress distribution is more uniform; the structural node has the characteristics of being clear in stress, safe, reliable and convenient to manufacture.
