The invention relates to an automatic charging robot which comprises a probe installation frame (320) installed on the automatic charging robot and capable of moving along with the automatic charging robot. The probe installation frame is fixedly provided with a conductive probe set (310) used for detecting the position and posture of an electric automobile socket assembly. And the conductive probe group comprises at least three positioning probes (311, 312 and 313) which are positioned in two parallel planes, are parallel to each other and can point to the socket assembly of the electric automobile.
